I can guess they have put a hard labor as they explained really easy and effective things about windows 10. If someone is not very good in operating system, this book will help them a lot. windows 10 is one of best operating system now a days. this book is for them who really wants to use computer in easier way.
The possibilities in Windows 10 are endless. I have experienced it first hand but I still couldn't get the hang of it completely. that's where this guide stepped in. I am glad I have it because everything is thoroughly explained by someone who has complete command over the new Windows operating system. Whenever I forget something I just look in this book and I find it. No worries, if you feel the same as I did, you should probably take a look at this guide.
With every new Windows update, there are new features add. This is great for advancement, but it is also easy to get lost in the newest update or feature. I definitely have found myself overwhelmed trying to figure out how to do things that seemed much simpler on the older versions of Windows. That is where this book comes in. It helps to navigate all of the added features and rehashes the ones that we know, but can't figure out how to access.
The author does a good job in laying things out in a manner which can be understood by individuals who aren't technical. Many times, the issue with a book like the meaning gets lost in the jargon. I felt like this book separated things into understandable and usable parts. This would definitely be beneficial for someone who is looking for a quicker guide without all the headaches.
I was wondering about upgrading to windows 10 or staying at my current version, so I check out this book. It gave a great description of the differences in the upgrade (like the welcome back of the start menu!! yay). But it also went further into a guide on how to customize and make the best use out of the upgrade. Great book with nice pictures to help make following along a little easier.
The Technology sector is evolving at a high speed with continuous systems and product upgrades. Microsoft released Windows 10 towards the end of last year after the unsuccessful windows 8/8.1 failed to capture a big market with many people complaining about it, for my case I remained with my stable windows 7. This book has helped me and am still using it as my guide to my recently upgraded windows 10. Its helping me get along with some new features introduced and the author is explained various features with screen shots.
This is the perfect guide to windows 10 for the users who are new to this os. I have been a mac user for far too long and I finally decided to make the switch and go for windows. To be honest it was kind of confusing so I decided to use this book to get myself acquainted with windows. The book covers all the basics of windows 10 ranging from cortona to the way how store works. The book is accurate and to the point.
Overall, I highly recommend this book.
There was no discussion of the security issues of Windows 10 (telemetry and keyboard logging). Creating new accounts was covered in chapter 2, but local accounts weren't mentioned until chapter 3. There was no discussion of the security impact of using Cortana. The grammar was mostly OK.
This ebook is OK for any user who trusts Microsoft with all the information on their PC, and the login/password of all the accounts accessed from the PC. For those who don't have that level of trust in Microsoft, look elsewhere.
